Our Story
Since starting as a medical equipment servicing business in 1983, Mediquip’s technical strength has been the foundation for its growth in service, equipment and consumables. The company has more than 100 team members working across healthcare, simulation, service, dental − and its veterinary brands MQ Vet and veterinary imaging provider Medical Plus ANZ.
Our service team prides itself on being reliable and responsive, flexible, and easy to deal with – and our project team offers solid experience in equipment fit outs for new builds and re-fits.
It’s our specialised knowledge and solutions-provider mentality that sets Mediquip apart. We are known for our after-sales support and long-term partnerships with healthcare providers.
Mediquip has held state government health contracts for many years and has long-running relationships with leading day hospitals, dental groups and other healthcare providers and teaching institutions across Australia / New Zealand.
Mediquip has team members spread around the nation, and offices and technical workshops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. We have warehouses in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia and field service engineers within two hours drive of 90% of Australia’s population.

Starting as a service business in 1983, Mediquip’s history has helped shape our commitment and customer focus.With a loyal customer base and a growing need for biomedical service and support, our technical team can be contacted 24/7 for repairs and maintenance.
Repairs are addressed immediately and servicing can be undertaken at the customer’s premises for convenience.We also provide customers access to MAAS, our Medical Asset Administration System which was developed in-house.The system is a unique, online, paperless database that retains a complete history of a customer’s medical equipment.
Project Delivery
Our dedicated Projects Team provides decades of experience and solid working relationships with Builders, Specialist Fitout companies, Project Management providers, and Architectural & Design Firms throughout the medical industry.Working with countless hospitals and clinics around Australia, our strong understanding of the legislative and technical requirements, equipment solutions and positioning, and how to optimise installations for smooth and efficient ongoing performance, are our major strengths.We’ll talk though your requirements and project scope to provide successful outcomes and solutions, and our operations are supported by dedicated Technical Specialists in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia.

Minimising our ecological footprint
Mediquip is dedicated to the protection of the environment and makes every effort to reduce environmental impact.Specific attention is paid to recycling all packaging materials, recycling general office waste, proper disposal of hazardous materials and reducing water consumption.When new products are evaluated preference is always given to those with a smaller ecological footprint through packaging, reduced energy and water consumption.

Giving Back
Mediquip have been a ‘Hummingbird House Supporter’ since 2014 and provide medical equipment for the children’s hospice at special not-for-profit rates.Our team are actively involved in the Hummingbird House Community and make every effort to support the charity’s events and fundraisers.
