Aurora Respiratory Training Simulator
A high-fidelity respiratory training simulator with Internal Simulated Lung technology, real ventilator compatibility, and tetherless operation. Covers BVM, NIV, ICU ventilation, CPR, intubation, and ALS training.
- What makes Aurora different from a standard mannequin for ventilation training?
Aurora contains an Internal Simulated Lung based on ASL 5000 technology — meaning it breathes spontaneously, triggers real ventilators, responds to ventilator settings and alarms, and simulates a wide range of respiratory disease states just as a real patient would. - Can learners use their own real clinical equipment?
Yes. Aurora is compatible with any ventilator on the market, plus real bag-valve masks, CPAP, BiPAP, and all standard airway adjuncts — so learners train on the exact equipment they will use clinically. - What types of ventilation scenarios can be simulated?
Aurora supports pressure and volume control, SIMV, Pressure Support, ASV, PAV, CPAP, BiPAP, and non-invasive ventilation — as well as spontaneous breathing weaning scenarios, patient-ventilator dyssynchrony, air trapping, and lung-protective ventilation strategies. - Is it portable enough for multi-room and transport scenario training?
Yes. The tetherless capability provides at least 2 hours of operation without wall power, and the wireless software connection means Aurora can be moved between rooms or used in transport training scenarios without disrupting the simulation. - What training and support is included with purchase?
Every Aurora purchase includes a RespiSim LMS subscription for self-directed hardware and software learning. Additional on-site clinical consultation and extended warranty options are available separately.
