This is a dual-pathology model — the only configuration that allows learners to scan, identify, and directly compare both an intrauterine pregnancy and an ectopic pregnancy in the same session. Both pregnancies are simulated at 7-week gestational age, enabling direct pathological comparison and building the clinical reasoning skills essential for early obstetric emergency assessment.

What anatomy is included for training?
The model includes a uterus with IUP and endometrium, a 7-week ectopic pregnancy, endovaginal canal and cervix, bladder with bladder wall, left and right ovaries with follicles, corpus luteum cyst, broad ligaments, maternal bowel and colon, and free fluid in the cul-de-sac — providing comprehensive anatomical coverage for first-trimester scanning.

Will it work with our existing ultrasound equipment?
Yes. The SimulexUS™ tissue replicates human sonographic response across 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound systems. A 5.0–12 MHz endovaginal transducer is recommended for optimal image quality — no additional equipment is required.
