How does the AM70 differ from the AM30?
The AM70 adds an integrated turbine-driven ventilator supporting VCV, PCV, VS, and SIMV modes, plus a 10-inch touchscreen — making it better suited to practices requiring ventilator support across a wider range of procedures.
What makes the turbine drive significant?
The turbine-driven ventilator eliminates the need for a separate drive gas supply, reducing running costs and simplifying setup — particularly useful in practices without compressed air available.
How low can the tidal volume go for small animal procedures?
With a minimum tidal volume of 5ml, the AM70 safely ventilates very small exotic animals as well as cats and small dogs on the same machine.
Can it be upgraded with EtCO2 or anaesthesia gas monitoring?
Yes. Optional sidestream and mainstream EtCO2 monitoring and anaesthesia gas analysis modules can be added as the practice’s monitoring needs grow.
What patient sizes can it accommodate?
The AM70 is supplied with both large and small bellows, covering patients from very small exotics through to large dogs.
