How do we tell the two versions apart at a glance?
The Ampoule version is pink and the Vial version is green, making it easy to confirm the right one is in use.

Can this be sterilised and reused?
No, it’s a non-sterile, single-use device intended only for use after medication has been drawn up.

What happens to leftover solution in the ampoule once the clip is attached?
It shouldn’t be used later. Once a CheckCLIP is inserted, any remaining solution in that ampoule is treated as unusable.

Will it stay attached if the needle isn’t fitted properly?
Not reliably. Correct fitting of the needle or cannula is still required, since incorrect attachment can cause dislodging regardless of the clip.

How is it disposed of after use?
The whole unit, syringe, CheckCLIP, and ampoule or vial together, goes into a sharps container as medical waste.
