How does the automatic changeover work?
The manifold draws from the active oxygen cylinder bank until it empties, then automatically switches to the reserve bank — maintaining uninterrupted oxygen supply without manual intervention between cylinder changes.
What happens when the empty cylinder bank is replaced?
Once the empty bank is replaced, the lever is moved to the other side to reset the manifold, swapping the active and reserve banks so the partial cylinder is used before drawing from the freshly replaced supply.
Is it suitable for continuous clinical use?
Yes. The M120 is designed for installations requiring uninterrupted low to medium flow of non-corrosive gases — making it well suited to continuous oxygen supply in veterinary operating theatres and ICU environments.
Can the system be expanded to support more cylinders?
Yes. The modular inlet header system supports expansion, and optional accessories allow the manifold to be configured to a wide variety of supply source and outlet specifications including alarm panels and emergency shut-off valves.
