Mediquip has been providing biomedical equipment servicing, validation and repairs for decades, with a well-qualified team of technicians and engineers.
We support a great variety of equipment – from centrifuges, defibrillators, syringe and infusion pumps, scavenging systems and oxygen supply plants to CSSD/sterilisation, electrocardiograph, anaesthetic, electrosurgical, general diagnostic and medical gas devices. Mediquip also services equipment used for patient monitoring and critical care, physiotherapy, resuscitation, medical lighting and more.

Mediquip can create a specialised maintenance program to suit healthcare provider needs, managing their biomedical assets and providing guidance in areas such as lifecycle replacement and budgeting forecasts. This may include regular inspection of equipment to support compliance with manufacturer requirements and Australian Standards, and technical support on matters such as future overhauls, facility workflow, staff equipment training and everyday upkeep of equipment. Loan equipment is available to service contract partners to avoid downtime.
Mediquip’s asset management system MAAS has grown to support hundreds of thousands of medical assets all over Australia, helping healthcare providers manage compliance with Quality Assurance and Australian Council of Healthcare Standards.
Validation and Compliance
Mediquip offers a variety of validation services, including paperless validation report management for CSSD equipment and benchtop steriliser validation to meet compliance requirements. It provides validation for all brands of nitrous oxide sedation / Relative Analgesia (RA) systems for dental clinics and dental hospitals.
Accreditation and regulatory bodies in Australia require medical, dental and laboratory practices to ensure their patient areas are routinely checked. Mediquip can provide annual re-certification of these areas to verify they meet Australian Standards for compliance and patient safety and test medical equipment for electrical safety in line with the Australian Standard.
Mediquip offers functional testing using quality calibrated test equipment and any perished components are replaced and manufacturer-recommended overhauls completed. All Mediquip biomedical test equipment is maintained to a strict calibration schedule under our Quality Assurance program, with calibrations traceable and certificates available for equipment audits.
