    Lucina supports routine labor and delivery through to complex emergencies such as shoulder dystocia, breech birth, and postpartum hemorrhage.
  • Does Lucina require a power cord during simulation?
    No. Lucina runs wirelessly for up to four hours maternal and seven hours fetal use, so training sessions are not tied to a power outlet.
  • Can one manikin support both obstetric and non-obstetric training?
    Yes. The interchangeable gravid and non-gravid abdomens let teams move between pregnancy-specific and general patient care scenarios with the same manikin.
  • What skin tone options are available?
    Lucina is available in Caucasian and Black/African American skin tones to support inclusive training environments.
