It adds realistic auscultation skill development — learners must place the RespiScope at the correct anatomical location to trigger the relevant sound, building the spatial awareness and clinical reasoning needed to accurately assess a real patient. - What sounds are available?
Lung, heart, stomach, and bowel sounds are provided — covering the full range of auscultation assessments a clinician would perform during a respiratory or critical care patient assessment. - How does the scenario-based playlist work?
The instructor pre-loads a scenario-based sound playlist within the RespiSim software. Sounds are triggered when the learner places the stethoscope at the correct anatomical site, providing immediate reinforcement of correct auscultation technique. - Is it compatible with Aurora manikins of both skin tones?
The RespiScope must be matched to the corresponding Aurora skin tone — light skin (3B1025337) for the light skin Aurora, and dark skin (3B1025338) for the dark skin Aurora. Confirm the correct variant at time of ordering. - Is the RespiScope included with the Aurora simulator purchase?
No. The RespiScope is an optional accessory purchased separately. It is not included in the standard Aurora package.
