Can this be re-used for more than one blade?
No, it’s designed for single use only. For more than one blade, a BladeCASSETTE or additional BladeSINGLE unit is needed.

Can it be added to our existing procedure packs?
Yes, it’s available off-the-shelf or supplied within a surgical procedure pack through an approved kit packer.

Does it need two hands to operate?
No, loading the blade in is single-handed. Two hands are only needed afterward to separate the handle from the secured cartridge.

How do we dispose of it after use?
Once the blade count is confirmed, the whole unit goes into a sharps container as medical waste.

Will this work with the scalpel handles our surgeons already use?
Yes, it’s compatible with standard handles like Baron and cylindrical types, so there’s no need to switch to a different handle system.
